just last tuesday i photographed nina & chris in one of my new favorite spots around. we went to the new ike… i mean the new guthrie in downtown minneapolis. what an amazing piece of architecture and what a cool place to photograph! we had a great time, though we unfortunately didn’t take advantage of the 11 bars on the premises! here are a few of my faves.

so last year i had an absolute blast with 5 different couples as we went to the state fair just to do some totally fun and outrageous and different photography. you’ll see lots of shots all over my site here and there. it was a very hectic week last year but i could not have had a better time with jenny & ryan, haley & brian, michelle & matt, lynn & drew, and jolene & patrick.
so this year i’m photographing 3 weddings while the state fair is going on, but as usual, for various reasons (usually scheduling and location) we’ll be unable to take a break during the day to head to the state fair. so i was curious if anyone wanted to do it this year at all? its a lot of fun and different and its the easiest time you’ll EVER have winning those ginormous stuffed animals on the midway! 
anyway, i thought it might be fun to take just a few couples (no more than two or three couples this year) sometime next week to the fair again, so if anyone feels like getting all dolled up in black and white, let me know!

just last week i photographed carla & chris’ wedding down in cottage grove. and boy do they know how to have a good time! i rode along with the wedding party in their stretch hummer-limo and we had a great time. another gorgeous day (we’ve had a lot of those recently!), and some really fun times.
carla and chris were fantastic, they even were totally up for it when i convinced them that it would be totally cool to go shopping at the local G. Will Liquors in Cottage Grove! i just love doing crazy stuff like that and when my clients are into it too, its just that much more fun! enjoy!

a couple weeks ago i had the honor to photograph audrey & phin’s wedding here in minneapolis. what an amazing couple! they both live in london as that is where phin is from they traveled here for their wedding because this is where audrey spent many years and she grew up not too far away in wisconsin. to say this couple overcame some adversity is an understatement, but it was a beautiful day and i had a blast! here are a few of my faves!

the fun keeps going last week (did i mention it was a busy week? ) with another engagement shoot. kimberly and anthony also wanted to do something a little different so we decided to go to the zoo! more specifically the como zoo. unfortunately the zoo actually closes at 6pm daily, but we still spent a little time in the zoo and then headed to como park and had a little picnic. it was a special place for them since one of their first dates was actually a picnic at como park! so this was really neat too! check out a few of my faves!
