a week and a half ago i had the good fortune to travel up to beautiful northwestern wisconsin to photograph bethany & kevin’s wedding. it was truly a very bittersweet occasion as bethany had lost her mother a few years ago so the wedding was not only a very joyous one about bethany & kevin, but also of remembering bethany’s mom and how important she was in bethany’s life as well. a very special day for sure. here are just a few of my faves. 
emily and david were married right in st. paul at the university club. i’ve photographed at lots of spots very similar to the university club in st. paul (various mansions on summit ave or in minneapolis), but this was actually my first time at the summit ave university club. great spot! beautiful intimate setting. here are just a few faves from the day!
stephanie & tim got married down in albert lea. it was a gorgeous day and we even got to take a few shots around downtown albert lea too! there are also a few with stephanie’s son Matthew who is a real cutie. check it out!
ok, so after i posted about checking to see if anyone wanted to go to the state fair, i did get two couples to respond and say they wanted to go! sarah & michael got married this year back in may, and steph & tom are getting married this october. now in case you’re wondering (everyone always asks me), both gals did NOT wear their actual wedding dress. i think sarah found hers at a thrift store (a great way to find cheap wedding dresses for fun!! ) and steph had a friend who was kind enough to lend hers to use.
but we had a great time out there and it was fun to go back again since i didn’t go at all last year. here are some faves from the two shoots in no particular order:

kris & jamie are getting married in late october but they wanted to do something a little fun for their engagement session and they actually asked me a long time ago if they could do it at the state fair. of course!! kris even told me that she wasn’t into a lot of PDA too, so i thought it was pretty cool that she wanted to go to the state fair too. anyway, here are a couple of my faves….
