well its certainly getting colder out now, but just a couple weeks ago we enjoyed one of those last fall weekends. it was a rare early november that you still had a few leaves on the trees here and there and yet had that distinctly late fall/early winter feel to it which i really enjoy. its a neat setting that happens every year basically after the leaves have fallen, but before the snow comes.

anyway, :) we enjoyed a very nice day. they had their wedding at susan’s family’s church in minneapolis, a very pretty old church, and then enjoyed a lovely reception at the calhoun beach club. check out a few faves here:

oh my gosh! has it been almost 3 weeks already since steph & tom’s wedding? i think it has! my how time flies. steph & tom’s wedding marked my return to the wabasha street caves for the first time since my good friend kris got married there a few years ago. its such a neat venue, i just wish they hadn’t painted one section of ceiling maroon. :)

but we were very lucky again and it was another just gorgeous fall day. we even got a chance to take a little jaunt down by st. anthony main and i got to check out the new park by the falls with the wedding party, and JUST at the right time of day as the sun was setting behind the downtown skyline. beautiful!!! check out some faves!!

kadi + justin * engaged to be married

well, its starting to get a little cool outside. but thats ok by me. :) when it gets into early/mid november you get that sort of late fall, but not quite winter look outside where all the leaves have fallen, but there’s no snow. it has a look all its own and i really dig it sometimes.

well kadi and justin’s wedding is coming up on new years eve this year, so before it was too late we wanted to get their engagement session in because we know we’ll have some great wintry shots on their wedding day. ;) check out just a few faves of mine:

kris + jamie * october 20 2007

on a completely different day, saturday october 20th was about the most picture-perfect fall day you could ask for. so that day i had the pleasure of photographing at the northwestern college chapel for the first time. its odd that i’ve never photographed there before, but interestingly enough, i have 2 more weddings come up there!

but what a beautiful day! kris & jamie were having so much fun and BOY can they cut a rug!! :) we captured so many great images from a really fun day. here are a few:

its that time of year again….

that’s right! halloween is now past so were are now fully in the holiday season!! and this year i have some fabulous new designs for holiday cards!! here is just one sample:
