for claire & brett’s wedding we drove down to lovely waverly, iowa. it seems like at least once i year i get down to iowa for a wedding or two. the fascinating thing about their wedding in waverly is that the cedar river flows through waverly and lies just outside the backyard of claire’s parents’ home in waverly. thats right, the same cedar river that flooded so horribly just weeks later! but luckily it sounds like from claire that their home was ok after the flooding.
but luckily on claire & brett’s day we had absolutely wonderful weather! we had a fantastic time the entire day and really captured some amazing stuff. there was this quiet, private intimacy between the two of them that was really apparent. almost palpable at times. i totally eat that up.
