the day after trista & wally’s wedding, i headed downtown for a little family shoot! traci & todd are getting married in september down in marshall, minnesota but its been a long time since they’ve gotten any family photos done too so we decided to include the kids a little too! we had a fun time walking all over the st. anthony area seeing this and that.
and so june started out a busy month for me with trista & wally’s wedding! trista (just like megan & david back in april) actually went to the same high school as me (albeit a few years after me… i know… i’m OLD! but 31’s the new 21 ya know!!). that’s right! go ponies! 
wally on the other hand, is from chicago and a white sox fan (but we forgive him for that) . they were married at the lovely Cedarhurst Mansion in Cottage Grove. it was a bit of a humid day, but very nice nonetheless. here are a few faves for you:
for claire & brett’s wedding we drove down to lovely waverly, iowa. it seems like at least once i year i get down to iowa for a wedding or two. the fascinating thing about their wedding in waverly is that the cedar river flows through waverly and lies just outside the backyard of claire’s parents’ home in waverly. thats right, the same cedar river that flooded so horribly just weeks later! but luckily it sounds like from claire that their home was ok after the flooding.
but luckily on claire & brett’s day we had absolutely wonderful weather! we had a fantastic time the entire day and really captured some amazing stuff. there was this quiet, private intimacy between the two of them that was really apparent. almost palpable at times. i totally eat that up.
