every once and a while i get some couples who are feeling a little more adventurous. andrea & kristian were totally game like that and now in late january, bri & mike definitely were too! we decided to do their engagement session downtown by the hennepin & 1st ave bridge. needless to say it was a very cold day, but we had a great time none the less. 
for my first wedding of 2009 i photographed bri & glen’s wedding at the northwestern college chapel. i’ve been there many times before and it always works out well. it was actually a typical january day in that it was very cold and windy but bri & glen actually made my day in two ways. first off, they totally smashed cake in each other’s face (which i love) and secondly they were FANTASTIC sports and spent so much time outside that we really captured some fantastic outside shots. i love it!!
yes, this is in fact the first client i’ve ever had who shared the same first name as myself. so for andrea & kristian’s engagement session, we decided to do a nighttime shoot. we started out at the jetset bar downtown and then went for a little walk outside. have a look!
