just four days ago on march 3rd, 2009 (square root day!!), i became an uncle for the first time!! i have just one awesome sister, and after several years of trying, she and her husband finally had their first baby, gavin. gavin was born a few weeks early and because the labor took a little longer than expected, he had to spend just a few days in the NICU at st. paul children’s hospital, but he was completely healthy all the while. 
but i was there just after he was born to capture some of his first moments with us. heeeeeeeeeeere’s gavin!
