hello again! sorry its been so long. its been a very short winter but despite not shooting many weddings during that time, i’ve been quite busy none the less. during the winter is when i tackle most of the albums for the year and other projects like that. its was busy winter, but now its going to be an even busier summer with hopefully at least weekly updates to my blog.
but first i’m going to catch you up on some of the shoots that i did over the winter. enjoy!

i always love getting emails from my clients and hearing how they’re doing! today i got an email from jenny & ryan. do you remember jenny & ryan? click here for a refresher. anyway, they were kind enough to send me a photo of their halloween outfits from yesterday and i figured that they were simply too good to pass up. 
so i just had to share. i hope they don’t mind…. 
i know i know… i’ve been a very very bad boy. . . its been almost 2 months since i last updated the blog. what can i say?! in this part of the country, fall is the busiest time for weddings and september and october are often the busiest times of the year for me and this year was no exception, so while i’m trying to juggle a million different things, the blog unfortunately got pushed back. 
but we’re back!! i hope everyone had a wonderful halloween! it was rather chilly out and as usual, i bought way too much candy. though i swear it wasn’t on purpose. honest! as many of you know, my wife and i just moved into our new house about 7 months ago, so this was our first halloween in shakopee. well, our house is in a growing development, but the development is kind of off on its own, so needless to say, we didn’t get very many trick-or-treat’ers. maybe 30 total.
but i’m going to try and update all of the shoots that have happened since early september and there have been many of them! i probably won’t go into too many details as i really want to post as much as i can, but i have throroughly enjoyed working with each and every one of my clients. they all absolutely rock! its my clients that truly make my work a total joy and i love being able to share it with everyone. so sit back, kick up your feat and enjoy some long overdue piccies!

as some of you may or may not have noticed, kofoto.net has new music! i’d love to hear what people think. i haven’t had music on my website in almost a year and i wanted something to freshen it up a bit. i’m hoping to make several more additions and changes to the main site within the next month or so as well.
the three tracks on the main site are all tracks from the new CD release “Perfectly Good Airplanes” by a killer local twin cities indie rock band called Mighty Fairly. the lead singer is a very very old and very dear friend of mine, but i honestly really get into the music too. if you like the music, check out mighty fairly’s website at www.mightyfairly.com and be sure to check out their myspace page at www.myspace.com/mightyfairly and add them to your friends too!

so last year i had an absolute blast with 5 different couples as we went to the state fair just to do some totally fun and outrageous and different photography. you’ll see lots of shots all over my site here and there. it was a very hectic week last year but i could not have had a better time with jenny & ryan, haley & brian, michelle & matt, lynn & drew, and jolene & patrick.
so this year i’m photographing 3 weddings while the state fair is going on, but as usual, for various reasons (usually scheduling and location) we’ll be unable to take a break during the day to head to the state fair. so i was curious if anyone wanted to do it this year at all? its a lot of fun and different and its the easiest time you’ll EVER have winning those ginormous stuffed animals on the midway!
anyway, i thought it might be fun to take just a few couples (no more than two or three couples this year) sometime next week to the fair again, so if anyone feels like getting all dolled up in black and white, let me know!
